| To build a high-performance team that is concerned with the success of your business you must have people who love the work they do and have a high degree of learned self-awareness. Team members need to be included in decisions that impact the growth and success of the organization, which fulfills their need for self- actualization. In addition, critical team members need to have the opportunity for profit sharing or obtaining equity in the business. And because people do not work solely for a paycheck, you need to care about and support their larger goals if you want them to care about your business’s larger goals. Take the time to talk with your employees, and find out what their long-term goals are - to understand how you bring value to each other. |
