How We Work

Whether we’re working with an individual or a company, we start at the top, because the captain of the ship creates the vision and sets the direction.  Working with us is like hiring a consultant, coach, and mentor to partner with you to achieve the success you want.

We also start with the end in mind, and clarify your long and short-term goals, both personal and professional because your business is there to help you achieve your personal vision.  We help clarify what you are working to achieve, what your business will be when you are done with it, what you want to do with it then, and what legacy is important for you.

Owner presentationThere is no question that to be where you are is a sign of your leadership, but you recognize there is room for growth. We help you develop, grow, implement and deploy your leadership in the context of your goals.

We help create alignment of vision, purpose and goals between the leader, the organization and the team members. We help you build personal and collective equity in the outcome of your team’s effort.  We help you develop the organizational structure and systems, and to take the actions to close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Working with us you will:

  • Develop a plan and strategies to begin having your business work for you, rather than having you work for the business.

  • Articulate a vision that inspires you and others. The role of the leader is to articulate the vision of the organization, define its purpose, and create its culture. Your vision is where you start creating your team and organization.

  • Develop a picture of your target client and ideal customers and what you do for them that allows you to attract more of the business that you want.

  • Develop systems that run the organization. To move beyond sole ownership that requires your presence on a daily basis, you will develop policies and procedures that operate the business. You can then manage your business through a reporting system, which allows you as the leader to focus on developing the brand of your organization whose capabilities have increased because of the systems you have put into place.

  • Develop skills to engage and teach. To create a truly scaleable business requires your developing a team that runs the business.

  • Maintain focus on the big picture and work on the details to make your business successful. We help you, as the leader, find the time to focus on the growth of your organization, rather than be putting out fires constantly – the ability to work on the important aspect for growing your business, rather than just urgent matters.

  • Have a sounding board for you as leader for your thoughts, goals, plans, challenges and accomplishments.

  • Develop success as a function of everyone in the organization.

Expand your language of leadership for enrolling others, building your team, managing difficult conversations, attracting the resources you need, consistently delivering quality products and services and creating profit. The tools of leadership by which leaders influence others to action are their own words and action themselves - what they say and what they do. We practice language of leadership to handle situations, take advantage of opportunities, and complete the tasks.

Now that you understand how we work, we invite you to learn more about Our Services.

To build a high-performance team that is concerned with the success of your business you must have people who love the work they do and have a high degree of learned self-awareness. Team members need to be included in decisions that impact the growth and success of the organization, which fulfills their need for self- actualization. In addition, critical team members need to have the opportunity for profit sharing or obtaining equity in the business. And because people do not work solely for a paycheck, you need to care about and support their larger goals if you want them to care about your business’s larger goals. Take the time to talk with your employees, and find out what their 5-year goals are.
